Because of how flexible and dynamic reference sheets and custom designs are, pricing is highly variable. Please ask for a quote.

Terms of Service
By commissioning Kimberlea Heili (the "artist"), you (the "client") hereby agree to the following terms.Requesting a commission does not guarantee the artist will accept. The artist holds the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
Digital Goods
The final result of the services provided will be delivered electronically. No physical goods will be delivered.
Scope & Revisions
The scope is defined as the work the artist will do for the client as agreed upon by both parties. The artist allows minor corrections throughout the process.After the final draft is approved, modifications may be made for an additional 10-20% of the total cost. (e.g. changing props) Furthermore, redesigns and other additional work that constitute a different piece will not be accepted. (e.g. changing the character's pose, adding another character)
Client Approval
After the completed work is approved and delivered to the client, the project is ended and the artist is no longer responsible for any errors.
Turnaround Time
Unless a specific deadline is requested, the artist will complete the client's commission at her own pace. The artist will communicate updates regularly. Please anticipate commissions being completed within the following estimated spans of time:
Sketches, Quick Lines - couple days to a week
Clean Lines - a week to a month
Lineless, Illustrations, References, Customs - a month or two
Unforeseen circumstances may cause delays and project specifications may increase the amount of time required to be completed. Thank you for understanding!There will be rush fees involved if the client requests the work to be completed by a deadline that gives the artist less time than she comfortably needs to complete the work.
Pricing
All prices listed are subject to change at any time and may change based on the following:
Overall complexity, requested level of detail
Number of subjects
Necessary file size (based on detail desired and project needs)
Time and labor required
Payment of Services
A down payment of 50%* is required prior to any work being done. The client's balance must be paid in full prior to the deliverables being released.All payments are to be made in USD via PayPal, unless otherwise discussed.*50% or the down payment agreed upon by both parties if a payment plan has been established. Payment plans are accepted for commissions $300 and above.
Refunds & Cancellation
The client and the artist have the right to cancel the project at any time. The artist will provide the client with the amount of work done as is at the time of cancellation.Clients who pay the full amount of the commission: 50% of the total will be considered the down payment.
Before work begins: Full refund.
Work begun, final draft not yet approved: 50% of down payment + remaining balance refunded in full.
After the final draft is approved: Down payment is non-refundable. Depending on progress made, 25-50% of the remaining balance—or of the latest payment if a payment plan is involved—is refundable.
No refunds after the finished work has been approved and delivered to the client.
Copyrights
The work may be used by the client for personal use only.Upon request, copyrights for the work may be granted in exchange for a fee after a contract has been signed.The artist has the right to showcase the work on her social media and website unless the client requests otherwise in advance.The work is not to be used for NFT, crypto, blockchain, or AI in any capacity.
Credit
Please credit the artist in a fashion befitting the platform (e.g. @ the artist on Bluesky) or otherwise credit the artist as "Kimberlea Heili” or "Whisperspirit" and, when possible, link to kimberleaheili.com.The artist will credit the client according to their preference wherever she showcases the work.
Force Majeure
If the artist is unable to continue progress for any reason outside of the control of either party, the artist will be free of obligation from completing the work until conditions are suitable to resume progress. The artist will make a reasonable effort to remove or avoid these conditions in order to resume progress or otherwise cancel the project and issue the appropriate refund when possible.
